That, but also the fact that unlike the 64B, 72B ect it gets penetrated easilly with DM23 120 in UFP.
9.7 max. 10.0 with 3BM22 is a joke.
If it does get moved to 10.0 then the fv4030 and turm t will become a buddy and say: our ammunition is a little bit dogwater bro

while not being joke of a tank without mobility, traverse, gun depression.
It is an unpopular opinion but I think its fine where it is; it has a good shell and still has decent armor, all while hosting a fantastic Sight System and decent gun handling. Yes the armor is a bit weaker for the Russians (but still overall very good, without a doubt), it is absolutely workable and still makes for a decent tank.
It also sits at a similar BR to other rival ‘glass cannons’- the 120S being a great example, as it has worse armor, worse mobility, but a better round and reload. Lowering it means also lowering the 120S, which I know many people would be very much against (myself included- having both, the 120S although foul to stock grind is fine once you get APFSDS).
So I think that where it sits is balanced. But, as I began, obviously this is not an opinion everyone shares.
Turret traverse rate? Among the absolute slowest at high tiers.
Gun depression? Among the worst at high tiers.
Vertical gun traverse rate? Literal worst at high tiers.
Reload speed? Among the worst at high tiers.
Claiming the T-72AV has decent gun handling would be equivalent to claiming the 2S25 has excellent armour protection.
