T-80UD is really strong now and could possibly go to 10.7, but the T-72AV TURMST is on par with the T-64B.
T-64B can typically survive 105mm DM33 UFP shots (and sometimes even 105mm DM63) while the TURMST can’t, only really having enough armour to withstand M774.
T-64B has a 6s reload while the TURMST has a 7.0s reload.
T-64B has 24 degrees per second of turret rotation speed whereas the TURMST’s has 20 degrees per second.

The only benefit is that the TUMRST gets good thermals (coupled with ESS) and slightly better optics.

If T-80UD is fine at 10.3 (in which it’s a direct upgrade over the T-64B), then the TURMST should be 10.0.
I’d argue similarly with the T-72B and T-72B (1989) (both of these having even better armour than the T-64B but at the cost of the same reload as the TURMST).

Instead of arguing the TURMS should be a lower BR because its worse than the T-80UD, perhaps instead we should be arguing theT-80UD should just be a higher BR?

I dont see reason why UD/BE couldnt sit at 11.0, seeing as standard 80U sits at 11.7.

Swedish T-80U exists at 11.3 with much better acceleration, top speed and an actual reverse speed… while still retaining thermals (albeit not great thermals).
