Well non that we don’t have I remember reading they had a few old ones hidden away but the Germans did find them later on.

I think is a bit of a stretch to plug these into the French tree when they are all pretty much just German modifications at their core that don’t have particularly notable history outside of German use. The 6-pdr S.35 in particular is way too far removed from France to justify.
France doesn’t need these German modifications for the most part anyways. They actually do have many less controversial options that aren’t very copy+pastey. Admittedly not so much around 3.3-3.7, but Vichy France wasn’t really going to help them there much anyways.
I don’t understand why you wouldn’t want a unique and “unusual” vehicle though…

it is a copy paste, the fact is that it is just a T-34-85 that shoots PzGr. Even the barrek is the same, they just cut 3mm in he inside with the nearby boat factory. The fact is that it was just a captured tank, that have almost no proof to exist but a couple picture, and made only once; every captured tanks in WT are because they were used whidly (only exeption is the german Kv-1, but it was more armoured, and the canon was completly changed; breeech with it. So it looked completly different, n dwas effetive in real combats.)
No proof saying it had kills, nor saw combat it was even fonctional. It is from the outside the exact same, and if we start to add every captured tanks in war thunder, even the one that didn’t been used, there would be an absolute mess of premium. mig-25 to Japan, Tiger 131 to UK, a 12th captured tank in the german tech tree, and just copy paste everywhere.

Granted, there is a decent argument for adding it to them. Just considering that’s the only reason 131 is famous or well known (I’ve even heard the argument that 131 is what made the Tiger famous in the first place, but not sure if I buy that). But as mentioned previously, 131 would depend on what Gaijin works out with Bovington, as Bovington owns the copyright and the IP for Tiger 131

honeslty it could be a cool one, since it has a complete history well documented and known behind him. Even the Mig-25 for Japan could be a fun one.
But what i meant by the previous message is that if we want to add a captured tank, it has to be documented, known or widely used; T-34-88 isn’t.
I don’t personally think it should matter much. We already have a lot of prototypes, one-offs, and modified captured vehicles in-game. I don’t think adding something like the T-34-88 would be bad, quite the contrary. I, for one, would absolutely love to see more funky field mods, stuff like the German M15/42 with a 38(t) turret or the French Panzer III with Panzer II turret. I think ultimately those would make for really neat vehicles to have as premiums. As for the T-34-88, I don’t necessarily think it’s a bad idea to add it, especially if it’s a premium or event tank. Gives a T-34 with a somewhat unique flavor to the game, and it’s something that’s relatively neat. Just my two cents though

Honeslty I think the T-34-88 would be just mid, it’s the same barrel as the 85 but tinner, so the shell will have to be less fast to not blow the barrel, so it would litterlay just be a T-34-85, with a PzGr. shell.
And it’s not the same as prototypes, this one have almost no documentaion about it but maybe 2 picture and it’s name wrtitten once.
And it is not like any captured tanks in-game, since this one wasn’t widely used (and in combat) or like the Kv-1 from germany that had to have a complete turret rework to put a complete breech+canon of the German 75mm. And honeslty, germany have already way too much premium tanks around there.

And seeing panzer with other turrets or other frankestein tanks, but this one is just not, it still have the D-5T barrel with a couple milimeter cut with the nearby boat factory tools, and maybe -we still don’t even know how it was looking- a muzzle brake.
Aye, which honestly makes it a nice idea for a premium/event/BP tank. Something that’s not too strong but not too weak, and something that’s unique enough to interest people.
There are a few prototypes that have been suggested that are like that. If you want to go down a real rabbit hole, look up the Durchbruchswagen, where we legit have only the testing reports and a picture of a road wheel as proof it existed. Another similar one in-game is the Mobelwagen with the quad 30s. Gaijin says it’s a Zerstörer 45 proto, but Doyle says it’s a test mule with the Quad 30s mounted on it, but there aren’t any photos of it. There’s also the Ostwind II, which we don’t have photos of (less said about that, the better, though).
Yeah, Germany is really premium-heavy, and it’ll likely keep growing. Especially in the WWII era since there’s dozens os options there.
Well if we start to add any captured tanks or prototypes that were just paper with a roadwheel, War Thunder would be a mayem of preium, and if it’s not already the case just more captured tanks than German tanks is pointless.
And you said it yourself, they are not even in)game, proof that they don’t have a place there.
Captured modfied tanks what are mostly what Germany has (par the Churchill) are unique variets
Vichy France would be good to see in some capacity. Maybe a better way to deal with all the french-german abomination vehicles. Also tbh I’d just like to see them in the axis team in sim for rank 2-3
Vichy France never had tanks apart from secret r35s and whatever nothing exactly good and all the french German creature’s are just German. That’s the only place they should go

Well, granted, the Quad 30 test mule is in-game. As is the Ostwind II as well. It’s not even a matter of them not having a place tbh, because frankly there’s still a massive gap between the Panzer IIIs and the Tiger Is that needs to be filled. Just another thing Gaijin has yet to get around to doing
