Whole this topic is only bait. I am actively playing T-34-85 in arcade and its one of the best and most brainless tanks in game. Just need to go forward and most of time you will have good result with it.

Of course I have higher kd with the t 34 85 in arcade because it’s a nuke cannon; panther gives you kill assists all the times due to weak gun.

The problem with T-34-85 is its bad zoom and bad gun depression mostly in arcade. Genuinely garbage for sniping especially when it can’t hull down in most places.

T 34 85 is a superior tank to Panzer Iv h, that is given, and it should have higher BR than Pz Iv H but 5.7 is way over the board.

Most of fights in arcade are on distance less than 1 km. For what do you need good optic on this distance even when you have help with cross?

And -5° depression is not great but also not terrible. Its pretty usable. If you’re not used to it, I advise you to get used to it quickly because it won’t get any better.

It all stinks of improper use of the machine. Instead of using it for sniping, you should use it for maneuvering combat at short distances, where it especially excels thanks to its powerful cannon, decent armor, and good mobility for its BR.
