It does not need to go down in br at all. The T-34-85 has a great gun and good shells with good angle performance. It also has great mobility with pretty decent armor.

Back in the day the T-34 1941 and 1942 were also 3.7 and now they are 4.0, which is still higher than the Pz IV H…
The T-34-85 beats the Pz IV H in every catergory except gun depression. Same with 76mm Shermans.
Put a Panther 75mm into a Pz IV and it would still be worse than a 76mm Sherman and maybe on par with a Firefly.

T 34 85 is a superior tank to Panzer Iv h, that is given, and it should have higher BR than Pz Iv H but 5.7 is way over the board.

Mate, whatever drugs ur taking, I want some. The armour is pretty decent, and the gun is good for its br. Sure it has no gun depression but neither does every other Russian tank

Not even. They have terrible APFSDS rounds.

Ebr 1954 was at 4.7 and the sherman 2 was at 3.7.
Now the ebr is at 7.0 so the sherman 2 should be at 6.0.
