Way rather have the t15 armata then t14. We need a top tier ussr / rus ifv that is capable of taking hits…

The top one is a T-14? That looks more like the T-15 bottom view ngl. But if you confirmed it’s a T-14 then yeah.

We need a Armata with cope cage and arena-m modules to protect the separate hemispheres that afganit can not.
Though for top attack munitions, its soft kill systems are likely enough.

Well you should never underestimate the power of 48 multi spectral smoke grenades but no. I was refering to the Electromagnetc Protection System (SPMZ-2E). It messes up magnetic fuzes like those of AT mines but its highly likely to work on those of ATGMS such as TOW-2B and NLAW as well.
And the Upper Hemisphere Protection Complex (KZVP) to which the smoke grenades are also integrated. KZVP either fries incoming threats via EMP or discharges smoke grenades.
Russian industry have been pumping out these systems. Tank is never truly obsolete it just finds new way to survive. One thing people forget about Russia is they are the world leader in EW systems and spoofer technology.
I’m just surprised they haven’t tried to throw a high power DIRCM style system onto one yet. I think the Chinese has something of the sort but it targets the optic of the targeting vehicle.
