Would also like to add that the Premium, Swiss F/A-18C is sporting the expanded, 120 count, countermeasure pods at the same BR as the US’s nearly identical F/A-18C which does not. Said hornet also gets the AN/AAS-38B while the other premium hornet sports the earlier AN/AAS-38A.
Along with this The Swiss hornet also gets E-GBUs while, once again, the same premium hornet in the US tree does not.
The only + the US hornet, at the same BR, for the same price, gets over the Swiss hornet is walleyes, which are very much so not worth all of the bonuses that the Swiss hornet rocks at the same exact BR for the same exact price.
Right now, the Swiss hornet is just flat out a better buy as it is given all the upgrades that were requested and denied for the US premium hornet when it was introduced.
That’s actually an excellent example, if the us hornet could technically carry all of the same stuff why is it only given to the one that didn’t carry any of it?
I try not to cry bias but after smin basically said “we’ll give it whatever we want” i’m starting to think it’s bias, the German eurofighter shouldn’t have brimstones either but it’s the same thing.
Its very curious to me that this premium arrives with a new tree and all the items requested for another premium that is nearly identical in every way but not popular anymore.
Its almost like suggestions are being withheld arbitrarily to drive sales.
So ever plane that could fire the AIM 9 M is considdered for the AIM 9 X (bc it has literally a compatibility mode, emulating being an AIM 9 M for the plane)?
And that uses the same plug (32 pin apparently) then AIM 9 L
So considdering the AIM 9 X for the F14 A etc?
This is highly bs.
We need higher standards for considdering.
Like the missile being tested on the plane.
Given the statements made prior, would ya’ll prefer me to create a new thread and vote about having both premium hornets get merged so both parties get everything available, or would ya’ll be fine with that discussion occurring here?
Your report was unfortunately a mash of several things, asking for some to be removed and some added. It should be one issue per report. The response was based on the removal you suggested.
I’m a bit surprised that IRIS-T and AIM-9X were only added on ground units this time, whereas they originally were aircraft ordonnance and would be viable for e.g. late Hornets, Typhoons…
Is that something still to come, or at a later stage? Do you have anything you can already share on this?
IRIS-T and AIM-9X are very much above and beyond what we currently have in terms of IR missiles for air. So they shouldn’t be expected super soon for aviation.
Another loadout diference is the low-drag-pylon that was specially developped for swiss air force, allowing to mount AIM-9P and AIM-120B on any station, including wingtip-
Given what @Smin1080p_WT said, i will file a bug report for each individual dev error.
For the 120B i have documentation of the procurement BR92 and BR2011
For the low-drag-pylons I have photos that confirm it. I won‘t get ghe blueprints from R**G
As a reminded - Only one BUG per Ticket otherwise GJ closes it. @Schindibee I’ll help you on the Cyrano. There is plenty of documentation. Is no TARAN-18 in game yet. I doubt that they will implement it if its not yet in.
