me neither, MKK is fun to fly, but god does it completly stomp in downtiers.
Maybe 13.7 (where the premium Su-30s should be IMO) if it doesn’t get the double racks, defiantly 14.0 if it dose.
The premiums F18 are good version if you cant get a good matches is skill issue, the only players than can say simething wrong with the f18 is the 14.0 and the 14.3 ones
While they are 12.7 they are practically 13.3 because of all the 13.3 prems right now. They are nice planes but you’re expected to be the underdog every single match. Doesn’t help that you have one of the worst SARH missiles at tier.
If they only saw other 12.7 BR aircraft it wouldn’t be a problem, their BR bracket is an eternal curse sadly.
You have the 2nd best SARH missile in the game, so explain?

I should of worded it better by saying between tier 12.7-13.3 since thats what you face 90% of the time. You get rocked by R27ER’s from the Su-33 and Mig29 you will constantly face.
They are not bad per say, but the low energy of the F-18 means the missiles are very slow off the rail compared to what everyone else is throwing at you. Since most competent players know that they just need to toss a Fox 3 and jump into a notch window, you feel pretty helpless most of the match.
So… it’s still the 2nd best SARH in the game. Your statement of “you have one of the worst SARH missiles at the tier” falls short of reality.

When the missile in 1st place is a Lambo and the missile in 2nd place is a mustang, its “position” at 2nd place doesn’t mean much.
Damn I wish I could play those downtiers in my Su-30MK2.

Not the best example, I would drive a Mustang (Gimme a late 60s Shelby) over a Lambo any day of the week! And I’m sure I’m not the only one.
Top tier dose need some serious decompression though. but if you think the 7Ps are bad, try using the Fs on the F-2 ADTW at 13.0 (talking strictly about the AIM-7s here not comparing the overall planes)

Bit weird honestly, I personally see full uptier once in a blue moon.
Nonetheless, Id say the premium Su30 are perfectly capable of holding their own. You run full ARH + R73 or you take R27ETs as well?

Oh I know why I have uptiers so often, my matchmaking is just cursed. I have known that to be the case in GRB for a while now and it even became a meme/joke among the friends I play WT with.
Oh yeah it still does fine in those uptiers. I usually run 4x R-73, 4x R-77 and 2x R-27ER.
I like the ERs for utility and for how I play they are more consistent than ETs.

Ballsy, I can respect that.
From the few times I tried carrying ERs they got me killed more than anything albeit I can absolutely see the utility they bring.
I carry similiar setup on MKK, 4x PL8Bs (THE best shor range IRs imo), 4x PL12s and 2x 27ETs.
Due to how I play I usually end up above few enemies and having missile with good tailchase ability/ fast TtT is must have.

Playing the F/A-18 is so difficult in top tier, (or the tier below) I swear every 5 mins into a match you are either out gunned or you have 3 SU-27s locking onto you and boom your done.

The people flying those are always so weird, Idk how to describe it but it’s like a bunch of aliens trying to cosplay a human player because they sometimes do the weirdest fucking thing and I’m genuinely caught off guard by how bad their plays are lol. And yeah, “the locking from 45 km away” and chasing you around for 5 min bit is a trait shared by all R27ER users, very annoying.
