SuperHind (Mk.4) Discussion - Specifications, Weaponry, etc

Yea, asking someone to post classified/restricted information is not a good thing to do.

i dont think an old walk around and system tour video is would class as classified info but if it is yea sure, no need to share

Videos are still busy being recovered. But because of the restriction clause on the manuals I have I will not be able to share those. Like, it is costing me actual money.

But the video footage is my own property filmed in public space. Once I have that I will share, though the videos only detail the cockpit and the ATGM pylons externally. That said, in cockpit view the systems are on so it gives us a good idea of what it can and can not. Just need be patient.

Same time, I have a data request in with Paramount and Denel - Trying hard to get accurate info here :)

also i was looking at surbaisse’s threads on support forum and any info on the maw systems would be dope since there are some questions on that aswell

At this rate we will most likely only have info a bit after it has been added to the game so patience will be a factor.

I am in discussions and will pass on whatever I can.

also @Surbaissemaxxing can’t we also say that it gets falangas and shturms acorrding to this page ? Advanced Technologies and Engineering - Aerospace engineering which is the mk2’s page but everything that the mk2 can take is also available on mk4 isnt it ?

I do not know if Mk.2 weapons also went to Mk.4, however Shturm was already reported

im just annoyed that they never get more spesific on what type of a2a equipment it can carry, they’ve just said a2a missle everytime lol

Because it would have depended on the customer order. What’s even more annoying is that archive link states it’s compatible with Gsh-23-250 gun pods, the Superhind was intended to be compatible with all V/P equipment so countries that bought the upgrade could still use their old weapon stocks.

Perhaps not. Mk.2s are basically using what ever weapon guidance equipment is already on the Hind, and adding ATE’s night attack, navigation and other improvements for the aircrew to use.
A Mk.2 based on a Mi-24D would be able to use Falanga, and a Mk.2 based on a Mi-24V or Mi-24P would be able to use Shturm. But Mi-24Ds can’t fire Shturm and Mi-24V and P can’t fire Falanga because they have different missile guidance systems - notably the antenna mounted on the port side under the nose used to send RF commands is different between these Hind variants.

So while ATE’s site says they can integrate OEM missiles on Mk.IV as alternatives to Ingwe, there is probably a hardware dependency on what missiles are carried, rather than it being a universal solution.
mk4

Notably the Azeri Super Hinds that carry Bar’er-V retain pretty standard Hind wing stubs, rather than the modified wing stubs for Ingwe

i see tbh i said this before im fine with the ingwe missles and stuff but all i want is just some proof of an air to air solution since the missles are decent enough but i dont think that the machine cannon will be enough for self defence, i hope that @Its Filthy’s videos and stuff gives us some info on that

@Surbaissemaxxing can we get anything useful from this brochure ? x.com its in french but i dont know french so :/
edit; i know its a mk5 brochure but first time seeing that, it could be helpful right ?

If you want LGBs although that may be mk.V specific
