SuperHind (Mk.4) Discussion - Specifications, Weaponry, etc

no

Yep, bascially spaa food. Too large to and cumbersome to play peakaboo with hills and terrible atgms that have no way near the range and speed to joust with spaa missiles, i have the 10.0 Tiger that has similair atgms while being a much better platform and it’s barley usable. just another DOA pointless vehicle to add to the list…

Still no

There was a report made for them but it mistakenly used a picture of a Rooivalk and not a Superhind.

Ah thanks for clarifying would it be able to carry r60m?

It has been a pretty awful experience so far trying to unlock modules. In ground I tend to get swatted pretty easily no matter how I play it and in EC I get a meagre share of the kills due to superior helis and gepards spawning within range and deleting me.

I think ir missiles will be less of an issue when I finally unlock the ircm.

There’s always the possibility I just suck though.

But it does look damn good so there is that and I have had some fun A2A kills on jets with the 20mm.

It could probably do with the zt6 at its current br.

just no

here is the rooivalk in a superhind brochure make of it as you want:

ah yes, its the “full spectrum” a2a sheet again… man what does that even mean

This brochure covers all of ATE’s products, not just the Superhind.

There are specific brochures for the Superhind and they don’t mention mistral.

there is no specific mention of any a2a missile other than it has ‘something’

it’s implied to be capable of mounting Mistrals or some other A2A missiles.

Likely they mean it can either fire Mistrals as exampled by the image of a Rooivalk pylon mounting Mistrals, or alternatively it can mean the Superhind can mount and use other A2A missiles such as those of Russian origin meant for the Hind series of vehicles.

Possibly.

Is this referring to Superhind? I do find control of weaponry is lost quite easily due to its ‘large chin’

Possibly most chin mounted gun helicopters

On a somewhat unrelated note, since the increase in the Ingwe’s speed the Ratel ZT-3 is quite fun to play and can work well at higher brs.

But should it be able to fire on the move; it can on the Hind so whats different with the Ratel?

Gaijin advisor, if that person even exists.

is the new cockpit really modelled correctly?

Seems good to me

It received a massive RWR buff as well, E-M band, it’s now on par with AN/APG-39 RWRs.
