that’s fair. i’ll have to keep looking to see if there isn’t some other unbound variant that could work.
i quoted the wrong thing. my post was about this.
to be honest with you. i dont know what they are doing with india. all i know is that smin said that there is no other place for india other than the uk.
Yeah, I think your concept of an export line is fun. If it makes you feel better, I think your estimated BRs are a little off, so the Super Mirage F1 wouldn’t really be needed for a gap filler. If I were to go with what’s already in the game, I can’t imagine the Super F1 being above 12.3 in air RB, and the F1EQ-6 would be 12.0. As for the MF2000, I’d expect 13.0 for it, maybe 13.3. MICAs are very powerful but it only gets two of them and it’s still a Mirage F1 at the end of the day. That export branch could be capped off with a Mirage 2000 variant leading to a Rafale variant, so you would get a smooth progression even without the Super F1.
Me neither… at least with South Africa there’s ground vehicles in the researchable tree. India has practically nothing so it hardly qualifies as a subtree, and yet Indian vehicles will go to the UK no matter what. As someone who mainly plays air I wish they would add some SAAF and Indian representation.
i’d always be hesitant to put some missiles too low, they’d risk unironically becoming “2 free kills” and have the matchmaker in an uproar. i do believe the MF2000 package is also supposed to integrate and HMD, hence why i estimated this high.
as for the F1EQ-6, could go either 12.0 or 12.3, depends on wether the air-to-ground weapons influence its BR. the F1EQ (both -5 and -6) are arguably more important for the compatibility with exocets (which other F1s aren’t) and being able to lase its own guided bombs (the F1CT carried laser bombs, but never its own pod)
speaking of, i’d be curious as to how the Raptor 1 Glide Bomb would affect the balancing of the Mirage F1AZ and Super F1AZ, but i guess we’ll get a chance to see if the SAAF gets added.
BR 12.3 and a forum moderator already commented above that if it gets added it will be to the South African sub tree in the British TT.
BR 12.3
feels a bit low of a BR if it gets an HMS with its missiles, but ok.

as it should, just hoped france could’ve also had it. i think i found another solution for the french tree anyways, so the SAAF can keep their Super F1AZ for themselves.
It is what it is, you only get 4 IR AAMs in a tier dominated by radar missiles. That and you get a limited number of CMs while likely getting up tiers to 13.3 50% of the time so 12.7 would just be absurd.
France has other options for upgraded Mirage F1’s so adding the Super Mirage to the FR TT is redundant. The Moroccans operate a heavily updated Mirage F1 for example
Ground ordinance doesn’t affect Air RB battle ratings, and aircraft like the Kurnass 2000 sit at 12.3 in Ground RB with a better CAS loadout. So I think it should 12.3 for both and maybe 12.0 in SIM.
