Any news as of late for the production Su-57’s?
Would be interesting to see them fly with a pair of AL-51’s in 2026

Nothing yet, all we know that total serial aircrafts have increased to 40+
We will know for certain that Russia isn’t tinkering with Su-57 anymore when Russian Knights will receive their batch
Didn’t they have prototypes and small-scale production?
They do, but they keep tinkering with the design: new engines, new nozzles, new helmets, AI integration, etc… Russian Knights, if they ever gonna fly 5th gen that is, should recieve airframes with 100% standartisation from a mass produced batch. When they recieved pre-production airframes of Su-27M they barely ever used them because of little to no standartisation (pilots said that pretty much every signle airframe was different in terms of cockpit layout, avionics or something else) and lack of spare parts.
Didn’t the airframe also underwent some marginal re-disign? Talking about shapes of flight surfaces in this case.
I remember seeing some like that but I don’t know if it was debunked.
I know that serial production airframe is larger than prototypes, with wider fuselage. But apart from that - dunno.
Those were the 2nd stage t-50, 056 058 509 510 and 511
It seems that F-20 and Su-57 fans have something in common
IMO f-20 is more like su-75 than su-57
I was talking about obsession that borderlines with autism, but you are not wrong.
Yeah thats defo a new cam
I am das-ing it
Ldrim or maws?
maws
New formation lights too
So now we have a su57 (early) and su57 (late)
500k RP for formation lights.
We missed another thing (maybe 2)
Other than new maws and formation lights, new hud too
Old

New
(The same one shown in dubai airshow)
Also maybe it might have new mfds too then, and possibly 101ks p is removed too (the armpit sensor), probably because he new maws does it job, but video is too blurry to confirm

Footage pic :
Nvm the 101ksp is still there
