I’ve been wanting this plane in War Thunder for so long and now we’re finally at a stage where this could be a possible addition! Hopefully not a premium! I’d prefer it as an event vehicle if anything.
Though this would be controversial in a realism matter because unlike most prototypes implemented this one was never meant to be armed and was just a demonstrator, so there is no clue on where and what pylons would have been.
Gaijin would have to purely use their imagination on this

There is primary evidence which states testing of the Ostwind II, the problem is there are no surviving diagrams or pictures so we don’t know what it looked like.
I think more likely it would have used the vertical mount of the Luftwaffe rather than the horizontal mount of the Kriegsmarine.

Difference is the F-16XL at least had rails where it could actually have weapons, although possibly mockups (unlike this thing) and that the F-16XL of course comes from the F-16 (iirc, the F-16A). Like this thing however, I dont think it had a radar, but the 16XL at least has a better excuse.
This suggestion on the other hand is literally just filled to the brim with misinformation that it makes me question how it even passed. Like:
You can literally see irl images of it, and it can be seen no where. This is paper/fiction as it went no where.
The Su-47 never had a radar. It literally cannot guide them. It only had a radar cone that had nothing in it like other demonstrators. I have yet to see a proper source mentioning a SPECIFIC radar that it had.
A weapons bay which could only open and close allegedly, but there is no proof about it being wired with weapons, let alone any proof from documents about weapons being fitted. OP literally never even mentioned a specific radar anywhere, so that says a lot.
I have never heard of it ever having a “rearward-facing radar”. I’m pretty sure this is just the ancient spread misinfo about older Russian aircraft like MiG-29’s and other Flankers at the time having them, when in reality that is literally just the drag chute
Once again, how did this pass? With also 2 sources only too? It’s literally a demonstrator like the MiG 1.44 where they were not seen with any weapons, nor proof of said weapons being able to be put on them and tested. I would not be surprised if it was for the fact that it is just popular.

This shouldn’t have been approved, considering that the EAP and even the MiG 1.44/1.42 (which actually was meant to be armed, unlike the Su-47 and the EAP) aren’t approved either.

Yep this suggestion passing looks like a huge failure of suggestion moderators, it’s much more questionable than some of the stuff I tried to make that got rejected

I’ve been trying to pass a patrol boat class and it’s been rejected 4 times for lack of history (5th attempt waiting since the 6th of October).
I may be biased but I think the history requirements for lesser known vehicles is too much

Sadly the suggestion team does not give feedback by default. You need to DM one of the mods first and ask them to give the reason why it was denied.

Yeah WreckingAres, Til_Douvre_Faller, and Xeno_Quaza are my go to’s for any denied suggestions as they are pretty helpful. Just got to time the PM right whilst they are active.

Eh, we pretty much running out of Su-27 variants (and it derivatives) anyway. Realistically only Su-35S left with some optimism for Su-37 and Su-27M (aka the og Su-35). There are some export Su-30s ofc, at best I imagine is Su-30MK2 for China as attacker (unless Snail finally budge and give JH-7A a proper A2G… or just add JH-7A2 with said ordinance for top GRB)
