Sukhoi Su-35S Flanker-M: The Last Flanker

It can go one of two ways, Su-30SM2 or Su-35S.
I’d prefer if we got the Super Flanker first then the Su-35S, that way so we’d have two really good aircraft at the top.

I saw Su 35 with R37M missiles, under wing pylons, uner fuselage pylons, and if it can bring R37M under engine pylons, that means it can carry x8 R37M.
Also Su 34 and Su 30 can carry 7 Grom 2, bombs, with GNSS guidance, and 6 Kh 38MT/ML. So Su 35S can carry at least 6 Kh 38MA.

Many sources say that it weights 19 000 kg, that means it will have same performance as Su27SM

Sure, if it comes to china as well with equal gear after all that bullshit with the Eurofighter

Pretty sure China doesn’t use the Su-35S, they use the export model.

They do use the Su-35S, however it is often just called Su-35. From what I can see, it’s the same aside from having very minor changes seen outside of the aircraft, which I don’t think will have any effect in gameplay

They were interested towards it when the S variant was first shown, so it would make sense they got that variant

it’s debated on which one they got and I see no indication that it’s the S variant, in terms of armament they also look different, instead of relying on Russian weapons they’re apparently integrating their missiles like the PL-15 and PL-10.

Su-35S is Russian only, export model name is Su-35 and nothing else

Beautiful. +1

So to confirm:
Early to late 90s - su-27(m) produced. Modernization of the original su27s. However, not put into service, with a few units being transferred to the Russian knights. Only prototypes. Also referred to as “Su-35”. Lacks dual r-77 mounts.
Early 2000s till now - su-35(s) prototyped and produced for Russian Air Force, with redesigned engines that supports dual r77 pylons between the intakes and new no35 radar. Different from the original su-27(m) (based on it? Almost definitely). Separate development from su27m. Put into service with Algeria, china and maybe iran(not sure about this one)

Yes but with huge redesign of the front part, they removed the canards and the dorsal air brake and remade the fuselage structure

this is what we need in russian techtree with R-37 missle.

I remember seeing one with 74M in the HUD a while back, so it definitely carries it but I sadly can’t find it, will keep looking though.

Someone found it, so here ya go, R-74M displayed on a Su-35S’s HUD
