The standard Fox 3 is not infrared guided. It has no seeker that absorbs signals on the spectrum of visible and infrared light.
It’s a guided by a radio transmitter and receiver. Using the signals of the radio/microwave spectrum

I answered when you had irst instead of fox-3, but nevermind about this part then
Is this the model with thrust vectoring (sorry didn’t read)
Yes.
Thanks!
It like MiG-29M2/35 and occasionally Su-34NVO, can also carry Kh-38s
I’ve only seen them 2 at a time when shown off, but I’m assuming they can be fitted to 6 pylons like Kh-29s
(They’re the slimmer ones on the intake pylons, the ones on the inner wings are Kh-35s)
And they thought the R-27ER was bad…
I would like to see it in game but I don’t know if gaijin would do it, SOME nation mains would definitely scream bias if they did lol.
Overall another amazing suggestion from WreckingAres, even if I’m a little late to the party.
The EA would save the Su-33 from being DoA, but it’s highly unlikely that we’ll ever see it. Sad.
It would be in the form of the EM anyways because that was the planned production version.
Would be battle rating 15.3 after Su-30SM and Su-30SM2 at rank 9, my guess
Probably going to come at the same time with the F-15EX. More Sukhoi. I am all for it
Is it a Fox Three? I haven’t been able to find a lot of info
Yeah it was planned FOX-3 variant of the R-27ER, pretty cool stuff
Unfortunately Su-33 had nothing to do with K-27EA, even if the thing ever made it into service or even had a singular prototype made it wasn’t gonna go anywhere near an Su-33
That was K-27EM’s thing, which was from what I know, a modified R-27ER made for interception of Anti-Ship cruise missiles, but that wasn’t either so meh
