Not entirely related to the flanker specifically but any word on the R-73? People have been reporting that thing spinning out of control for over half a year now and I still haven’t seen or noticed a change
Mostly said that because the thing we got in dev was closer to the -1 than the normal R-77 since it had the loft stuff and all
The performance is too low imo and likely attributed to them meeting the range conditions by applying loft instead of reaching the same time to target without.
oh, I didn’t check the original video or the account of whoever had posted it, just the video that feetpics where he made the comparison, my mistake for not checking, but it looks like he posted another one containing a “real” video now

This second test I shared, done by @FeetPics , has another video as a source and on this other channel there is nothing related to video games, could it still be fake? yes, but this one contains more things than the other, even in the original video we hear warnings about (maximum angle of attack) outside of communications between pilots

I don’t know how big the difference would be, in the case of the su27 bug reports that we have in war thunder, people used the su27sk flight manual(in this case this would represent the j11) which is 600kg heavier than the su27S…soo Idk, it might be acceptable to compare the performance of the su27sm with the su27S
