So who’s gonna report it

Absolute cinema. Nothing can escape mighty Irbis.

Aren’t videos banned/not usable for reports though?

that is more for flight performance reports

from like airshows and stuff like that
bc someone used a video that was sped up before trying to buff a plane

This would be a huge deal, but this brochure seems to contradict it.

So which source should we believe?

I see.

I remember some flanker reports with videos attached that got closed, and yeah, now that you mention that I remember that it was an airshow, to buff the rate.

Not necessarily. This brochure says “tracking sector” which could mean the maximum vertical scan limit in TWS, not overall gimbal limits of the radar

It also states ‘‘Surveillance Sector’’ which is interesting.

This is probably the overall limits of the radar. Is there a Russian version of this brochure? I wouldn’t be surprised if this is another certified translation moment

Yeah i wouldn’t rely on single brochure either because you know, brochures are… brochures…

Single Brochure that contains the glimpse of radar performance isn’t gonna cut it in that case.

it’s also from 2006 while that video is from 2021
wouldnt be surprised if they updated it later.

So in theory our SM2’s radar can get even more upgrades according to these informations if I’m getting this right.

Well sign me in.

i mean i’m not gonna report it for the su-30sm2 because who tf knows what radar that thing uses atp, plus gaijin might just say su-30sm2 =/= su-35. I’m going to wait for the actual su-35 to come so that they can’t just outright deny it

Waiting for actual Su-35 is fair in this case, if somehow Gaijin implement the same radar with upgrades we can report it then.

I was wondering. What is the combat record of the su35 ? Its been going insane within the event happening that i lost count.

I remember 3 or 4 different images of it shot down.

As for the jets that were shot down by it I recall maybe a MiG-29, Su-27 and the recent Su-25 video.

I usually don’t follow these topics that much, but sometimes images reach you even when you don’t look for them.

If i remember right, its around 1-10 or something like that.
But some are saying that its around 20 which its not true unless we got at least a hint on both sides

1-10 being deaths or kills?

1 being death, 10 kills.
