Sukhoi Su-27/30/33/35/37 Flanker series & Su-34 Fullback - History, Design, Performance & Dissection (Part 3)

and the same would go for the IRBIS-E(xport) as well

so that is a pointless argument

and then again in the same video that old man specifies that the Su-30SM2 will recive the same engine as the Su-35

so why not say that it has the same radar?

ontop of that in that video they show the 30SM2 production line,
and this is most definetly not an IRBIS but a BARS

Not sure you get away with that anymore.
Algerias Su-57 has to be as close to Russias as possible. They will not accept missing systems and downgraded performance.

and even then, if it is the case, i was comparing 2 export radars with each other so it dosent matter

For sure it was more we are not in the 70s/80s exporting MiG 23s without RWRs

Yet, for some reason, they chose Al-41F1S over Izd. 177.

The radar and big lobbies ruins it for me.

Eh IM I use to that radar from gold old Su-27 since its my main horsework to grind new additions.

As for lobbies I tend to fly high on certain angles that gives me a chance to isolate my target and myself most of the time so its not too much issue for me.

Let’s just say the aircraft is much less efficient than it used to be and rather struggles with it’s competition at times.

The issue, as it is most of the time, is compression.

Should I talisman it?

I already have the 27sm with a talisman, only I miss playing the old Su-27…

I did and not have a single regret.

13.0MM is much sweeter than 13.7 and I was getting constant downtiers during my MiG-29KR grind.

Not even close.

Both Su-27/33 are still highly competitive aircraft’s at their br, just because they don’t suit your gameplay style doesn’t mean they are not effective even in current mm.

They suit my style but times have changed and they suffer from compression now.

They dont “specially” suffer from compression if thats you’re trying to say.

Compression is a general issue.

Everything without ARH does at that Br.

Ruined a premium /s somebody should tell all those countries to only get the upgraded like Malasian Su30MK with maw

Fair

Tried dropping TV Gudied Fab1500 and damage didn’t register to a carrier, so i was wrong, maybe just spam KH58…

I think mkm was designed before sm which explains its slightly worse radar

Because UAC first tested this engine in flight only around 1 month after Algeria received the first planes. They will probably upgrade to these later on

according to a modern su-35 export video from Rosoboronexport, the radar is capable of ±120 degrees scanning in both azimuth and elevation. would be a nice quality of life update with ±120 degrees elevation and not the current ±60 degrees
He says this at 1:10

and i also assumed that it is possible because of these images
