Also it’s just cosmetic in game, not even modeled as avionics.

The long white parts on the leading edge slats are the AESA radars, it’s radiotransparent paint.
20k rp for one and a half hour match w grind

fairs

simply not worth to play this worthless gamemode for rewards
I kept my Su-30SM2 half spaded for this kind of days (only got fm mods and missiles), now I’m enjoying both spading it and getting bonuses for 29K grind.
makes sim rewards look good
Five backups I’m crine
I prefer the Kfir C.10 I think.
I do not remember if that is 13.0 or 13.3 at the moment however.
Kfir C.10 is nice but bein limited to 4 missiles only and lacking iircm missile is big drawback at that br.
It is 13.3 now yes
The active radar guided missiles make all tge difference. You get into position rather quickly as well, the radar is good. Should be AESA if memory serves.
Yes radar ise AESA, the thing is those Fox-3 missiles are rather easy to notch and while flight performance is good it is not something special at 13.0 br.
You can get some couple kills but any smart Su-33 can easily deny your very limited arsenal before forcing your hand with R27ER, which is a missile that has much better kinetics than those Derby missiles while also having more missiles for any situation.
Kfir wins the when it comes to radar quality and having Fox3 missiles while Su-33 wins the quantity of missiles and having missile for every single scenario.
In the end its personal preference.
SU-33 might struggle with it’s 48 counter measures and will cry tears over it’s radars inability.
As I person who just spaded Su-33 due to MiG-29K grind, countermeasure amount isn’t a big issue.
Do keep in mind while it only has 48 those are large caliber CM’s which are 3-6 times more effective than regular countermeasures.
C.10 only has regular 72 countermeasures so in practice it has worse amount than Su-33.
The only thing you can talk bad about Su-33 is the radar itself but if you know how to overcome its weaknesses its not a big deal.
Gotta say Kfir C.10 is the last thing I worry when I use my Su-33 in that br.
Last time I played SU-33 i got clapped by people my radar never picked up half the time.
I had to play either rather aggressive or to defensive to achieve all that much.
The 13.3 and 13.7 jets are ruining 13.0.
Depending on Range you can pressure a F-15 if you should first but since you can not necessarily keep the lock in a notch it can be hard to survuve the AMRAAM especially at the close ranges we have in game. If s9meome else joins in you have no chance really.
You have to play carefully while keeping your awareness high at all time even with AESA radars.
What you’re describing is uptier situation, on pure 13.0 mm Su-33 dominates under right hands.
Every vehicle suffers against uptiers, its not surprise that Su-33 is one of them but you can still overcome those disadvantages against average person.
I saw something similar in battle as well. Two J-15Ts absolutely decimated the blue side air force from space.
Loadout Conflict
I hope I am posting in the correct area. Today i was severely disappointed with my Chinese SU-30MKK and loadout issues:
The Heavy Cavalry update has massive mixed-ordnance avionics issues on the Su-30MKK. The APK-9 pod needed for the Kh-59ME permanently breaks the TV contrast vehicle tracking (‘X’ lock) for KAB bombs, forcing them into loose ground-point locks. Additionally, activating a laser-guided Kh-29L permanently locks out the seeker arrays for the LD-10 and YJ-91 ARMs on the same flight, rendering them entirely unusable. - They disappear from your aircrafts available munitions, unfired.
The point is less so the effectiveness of the plane, but the extremely low research points earned for time spent on the mode
So, in terms of WT, GROM-1 (before they remove them)?
No because the fab bombs cant be released above mach 1 speed unlike the grom
