You are not mistaking it with R-77M? Because most recent news were about R-77M iirc. But for R-77-1 specifically, i haven’t heard much, mostly because Russia uses R-37M as its main A2A missile to remain as far as possible from enemy air defense.
There is one missile I could find that reaches m4.0 and has the same target and mission as PRH Kh-31 and it is the cancelled AGM-78 Falcon. It does not use a ramjet but it is the closest weapon in terms of max speed performance. The only in-service weapon that should be comparable is AGM-88G AARGM-ER with low-drag body and dual pulse rocket engine. Napkin math is giving me a top speed in excess of M 3.0.
There is also the US MA-31 that is literally a Kh-31P purchased from 1990s post collapse Russia but it was used as a target drone rather than a missile.
Future weapons such as Stratus RS will have higher speed and overall performance.
Also where is mach 4.5 for Kh-31 coming from? Most places spec it at mach 3.5 at max.

Funnily enough Kh-31 isn’t even that great in terms of WT. It is designed to explode above the target to damage raised radar dishes and shower the site with shrapnel. Against anything with even slightly armored roof it will give you a crit at best
stat card in game currently lists mach 4.5 so thats probably why

Why does she have such a high speed?
well, in’game it indeed peaks at 3600 kph so this is accurate (although i think that small caps around engine intakes should shoot off after it starts, but what do i know). With Kh-31PD peaking at 3900 kpg
that will be around 3.7 mach at 15km of altitude. I think statcard is just incorrect
it uses rocket booster and then a giant ramjet engine as a sustainer.
