i don’t think so, Russia uses static horison, and it is already displayed as a thick horisontal line
But i admit, it does look very similar to actual horison
As part of the pitch angle ruler, yes
But there’s also a one-to-one “in-world” horizon line
its the horizon line in the hud
ron_23 logging into the game and playing several matches so he can write a single line of text on forum
yes indeed
well iam too lazy rn to get to my pc and post hud images
well, with 2 people saying that it is horison line i am gonna believe it without any future proof anyways.
He’s watching us
Could watch that for hours
i feel this
i wish they remove the 1 week limit, or increase it
Found a cool size comparison of different Russian engines.

To my understanding
RD-33 (MiG-29)
R179-300 (Yak-41?)
Al-41F (MiG 1.44)
D30F11 (Su-47?)
Al-31F / Izd.177/177S (Su-27 family)
Mig-31 iirc
According to Wikipedia (best source ever, I know) the MiG-31 uses D30F6, and the Su-47 uses D30F11.
Both actually, Su-47 airframe and MiG-31 both use D-30F enignes. Difference between F-6 and F-11 is not known, because F-11 is pretty much only exists on a single airframe and never was mass produced. From random comments on different sites that i could find, changes are mostly engine controls placement and so on, internally and prerformance wise it is D-30F-6
Su-27M program actually considered most of the engines listed here.
Some of those would be… interesting…
Like R179 or D30.
… or RD-33.
This, as well as newer 177s were the ones that weren’t considered. But R-79-300 without rotating nozzle (R-179-300 was a proposal for Su-47, my bad) was considered, D-30F was considered and Izd. 20 (AL-41F) was the one that chief designer considered the most, but in the end… not even AL-31F with thrust increase was made.
Military wanted Su-27M right here and right now, and it to be not worse than Su-27S, and without any significant changes… And then USSR economy choked itself…
Many such occasions.
I am kinda scared to think what USSR engineers would cook if they had similar “budget” to their US colleagues
