no, it was the point of M2. 74M was made to replace 73. 74M features dual-band seeker but has identical dimensions to R-73

Watch it will turn worse than base R-73 due to clipped wings.

So the only Russian thing that potentially can compete with other tech is НСЦИ-КОС that is only installed on MiG-35 and, probably Su-57 HMD system (if it has one operationally)

Well, i know of the one that is in development that was shown in the documentary, and the one that is currently used by pilots. But i don’t know if the current one even has HMD in it

any aircraft that mounts all 3 sensors inside the cockpit is able to achive ±120°
the point is that the system is also useable with only 2 sensors but then it wont be ±120°
