Meteor uses a MICA derivated seeker yes. The MICA NG uses a new AESA seeker, and the meteor MLU (if the project continues despite Britain apparently leaving the MLU program) would use a derivated of this AESA seeker

It could be that the export uses a slotted array while the indigenous one uses an AESA.
There is a probability of that, but since only data on RVV-SDM will be available, i thnik gaijin will just model R-77M off of it.

I also found this from an earlier part of the Flanker Forum, supposedly Su-34NVO gets Thermals.
There was a discussion on Ru forums about what wavelength range is already infrared and what isn’t. I looked trough it briefly and it was something like Su-34 optical system operates at the edge between IR and visible spectrum.

@GitGood little correction from what I said earlier in the discussion, max limit is actually 2.13 and not 2.09/10, and I also tracked the time it takes to get to such speed, honestly a less draggier Su-35 could be interesting at this alt.

Table from Fomin book gives all dual seater Flankers Mach 2.0 speed limitations. But UAC official website gives Mach 1.75 for Su-30SME
Dor single seaters Fomin gives Mach 2.35, UAC websie gives 2.25 for Su-35
So i am not sure who to believe honestly

Older Sukhoi site says 1.9 for MKI derivatives.
Or at least Su-30s “With canard surfaces installed”
I have no idea why, but SME is rated at 1.75 while SM is 1.9.
something something downgraded export version? Different glass, different hydraulics or structural elements? Honestly thisis very weird

That would be my best guess. I haven’t the faintest idea why SME is slower than SM.
Can easily see the Su-35 at well over 2500 kmh, obviously it won’t be easily reachable in normal air RB matches, but something like nuke thunder could work.
