Yep, to be fair also very dependant on how much lower the drag will be, and how the 200-ish kg of increased weight will affect it, still, my original point was: saying many aspects that make it a sidegrade is a stretch.

For that you need to look in the flight controls of the Flankers. I don’t remember where but i heard that canards are only active when they are needed to ensure airframe stability, rest of the time they are static, but i can’t be sure if its true or not.
No 77M for now, i only saw AKU-170s on them. Chief designer said that SM2 is compatible with “practially everything” in Russian arsenal, but “practically everything” and “everything” are not entirely the same thing

Meteor uses a MICA derivated seeker yes. The MICA NG uses a new AESA seeker, and the meteor MLU (if the project continues despite Britain apparently leaving the MLU program) would use a derivated of this AESA seeker
It could be that the export uses a slotted array while the indigenous one uses an AESA.
There is a probability of that, but since only data on RVV-SDM will be available, i thnik gaijin will just model R-77M off of it.
