Would take the Su-30SM2 as a folder under the normal Su-30 if they also add it to the game some time

I think out of the 2 the Su-35 is the most logical step, it would bring a toptier that is finally on par with stuff added 10 months ago.
Also, from what I understand, multiple people in this thread stated that the SM2 hasn’t yet be fit with AL-41’s or IRBIS, so if that were to be true it wouldn’t make much difference compared to what we have now.

i’d say it will depend on how loaded dev team is with other stuff. With enough time and workforce Su-35S is most probable thing. But if dev team will be strethced thin - SM2 is more or less a copypasta of 3D model with some minor tweaks and changes to numbers.
it depends if N011M can guide R-37Ms. There are photos of SM2 carrying those. Another thing we discussed earlier - giant radiotransparent covers on wing slats, could be compartments for the L-band radars. AL-41F-1S isn’t installed yet, but from what i found we could expect first SM2s with them this december. There was a video coverage of the factory 8 months ago and it was specifically stated that airframes under construction at that time were already modified to fit larger AL-41s.
