It is sometimes NASAs job, it is why it doesn’t need any further funding. America has had many dozens of fighter projects between 1970 and today, the vast majority of them are post 1985.
In my view, for balancing reasons, no missile should get electronic advantages over the others. Because with that logic, why don’t we just give a ton of buffs to the R Darter? It’s easily the worst Fox 3 missile in the game right now. 77-1 and C5 have the same level (or maybe even better) electronics as a MICA irl, so… once again, the argument for keeping the MICA the way it is just doesnt exist
And what really gets to me is that a new buff for the MICA was even considered, and right now, any team with france in top tier has over a 75% chance to win a match, just because they not only have the best platform for air RB, but also for artificial reasons that go against balanced gameplay, they get the most accurate missile in RB too…

Hey Karma, I agree with your point, seeker performance should have stayed similar for all nations.
Modelling more datailed seeker performance, to make newer missiles more dangerous, should be something that gets done at the same time for all nations and similarly, to balance things out.
Just like when they added fox-3’s in the first place, they were added all at the same time for everyone, and the same should be done for the better performing seekers imo.
Nowadays i look at forums just to see another amazing take on why USSR air should be worse at top tier than competition. Always entertaining to read.
Well considering MICA-capable carrier now sitting at minimum 14.0, I think it’s pretty justified, although I kinda wish they also increase the BR of all Fox 3 capable carrier in 13.7 so 13.0 can breath again.
Same can be found in British docs from the 1980’s for Flankers, its all just intel estimates. General trend seems to be over estimate more so than anything else.

No, it’s not, because 0.3 isn’t gonna change almost anything in top tier. Just watch how the winrate for the MICA carriers is still gonna keep going up. Saying that changing the battle rating is gonna fix anything with how things are right now is just an excuse for people who defend this to sleep better at night, bcs I cant see other reason

That’s funny considering the report up for this camo was to make it slightly darker, to match the real one.

At this point it feels like they made the model based on descriptions and not visual references, that thing is so inaccurate
They want to give the flankers the same look as all the soviet jets rusting in siberian fields
