It still didn’t hit operational status on F-15EX?

it wont be

becasue the airforce is going for the Aim-260

Aim-174 is a Navy interm solution

F-15EX is planned to have AIM-260, AIM-174 is the long boi on the new Super Hornets.

So US is pretty much cooked unless Gaijin will make changes to AMRAAM or US will put AIM-260 in service tommorow

AIM-260 had a huge budget increase, which indicates it may be entering full production

Is the Su35SM in the room with us?😭

My guess is it’s just an Su-35S with some stuff from the recent Expo

So AESA radar, new HMD, and maybe Izd. 177?

Other than that, It’s all made up.

the Aim-260 wont help much

i dont think that it will have more pull than the 120C

Does anyone have info if the Su-37 was planned to get CMs like the MiG-29M?

I know it didn’t get them IRL. But if Gaijin adds it, how many CMs would it get?

Maybe we will see smth big on F-15EX

I found some photos showing the Su-37 had a place to put CMs, it looks like it’s less than a Su-27 OR Su-33.

Compared to Su-27S

And Su-33 (yes it’s WT, I couldn’t find any good pics.)

it would get 96 like the su-27

Super Hornets already qualified to utilize AIM-260 as well.

I just hope they can start production soon. 🙏

Also, I haven’t seen you around in a while- It’s good to see you around again!

Production was already started over 300 missiles are made. Low rate initial production was 2024 iirc.
F-18’s have been testing with them since 2018.

That would explain it-

I stopped keeping tabs on it around 2022.

MICA-NG hasn’t entered service yet.

The thing is you can’t utilize your missiles range advantages if your radar can’t even pick up the target in the first place.

Despite bein really powerful IRBIS is still PESA radar which can be jammed by AESA radars without EW suite help iirc.

Western’s EW suites will pretty much make Russian jets blind if Gaijin model it correctly.

kind of doubt its that bad, there would have been a much harder push to modernize US ship radar and AWACS from PESA to AESA 20+ years ago if that was the case.

R-77M also has an AESA seeker iirc
