This wouldn’t surprise me, really, as well as any differences between R-77-1 and RVV-SD (if there is any, that is). Actually, i remember wild claims about R-37M having detachable second stage, maybe they also originated from incorrect explanation of dual pusle motor?
Ehh the exact translation comes out to be “dual mode” not dual pulse, which means a booster sustainer combo
