Anyone tried TVC Flankers on current dev version? Statshark shows zero changes to the performance, but TVC controls feel… different. Can’t put a finger on it. Or maybe i am just coping

I don’t like ahistorical camos in general (this one as well), sometimes they are good looking, but can’t beat a good old real paint scheme.

Seems like Su-30SM/2 now automatically deploys flaps and slats at low speed, at least in maneuver mode. And it feels more controllable in this mode as well
Oh yeah, reduced cost is so good, my progress trough US tree significantly increased, especially considerning how consistent performance of many US Jets is. Flying F-4E right now and getting 2-3 kills even in constant uptiers to 12.0-12.3 is pretty easy

Love the fact that old Rank 8 jets are now 320k rp, 80k “discount” is almost 1/4 of what you needed before.
I feared that Rank 9 would only bring more and more to grind, but the change they made is just spot on.

I hope i’m not delusional about the behavior of TVC Flankers. Because i remember how they were doing on live and i struggled to do supermaneuverability tricks in some cases, something like this, for example.

on Dev it is much easier in my experience
Or doing 360 degrees kulbit. Su-30SM could absolutely choke in a position with nose pointing down to the ground and struggle to complete the loop
It definitely feels like the rudder helps it close the spin while pulling this maneuver, it usually freezes in place.
yeah, it also can remain in a position parallel to the ground at super low speed without dipping its nose (while still slowly loosing altitude)
i feel like the tvc control in game are too agressive unlike irl.
and we dont have soft control ( maybe controller user do )
Try it right now on the dev. It’s still quite aggressive, but feels more controllable
