Even basic su-30sm/mk with canards can super cruise irl which is kinda funny
supercruising at high alt isnt too impressive
doing it at sea level is tho
just as an example the Su27S is able to supercruise at 6km alt but it cant at sea level
maybe even the mig29 can supercruise at high alt
never tested that ingame

Yeah the AL-41’s push the SM2 a bit beyond that, in wt at least, IRL honestly no idea.
Maybe the Su-35 (in wt) can hit 1.2 or even a little more with a different drag model.

Going like 2000 kph at like 4km altitude is insane man.
Now imagine su-35 with izd 177 engines, would have basically the same thrust to weight as eurofighter.

I’ve only ever gone like, Mach 1.3 in the Super Hornet once, and I was around 6km…
The hornets are painfully slow…

Yeah lol, well the latest Su57 batch looked to have the AL-41’s judging by the non serrated nozzles.
Maybe the later batches will come with the AL-51’s, but honestly I don’t know how many months it takes for deliveries.

What’s the point, 99% of the time u are bullying terrorists, then every so often u got to avoid crashing it, low speed performance is far more prioritized. Only occasion it may be useful might be when u occasionally got to dodge a friendly missile.
More important question is how fast they can swim under sea level.
