Sukhoi Su-27/30/33/35/37 Flanker series & Su-34 Fullback - History, Design, Performance & Dissection (Part 2)

It’s technically called the Su-27KUB

T-10KUB-1 isn’t related to Su-32? Su-32 was an early designation/export designation for Su-34 which was quickly scrapped?

You’re right, it’s the naval cousin to the Su-34 or would’ve been.

“Cousin” is very generous for a twin seater trainer that didn’t even have electro-optical equipment nor much plans for actual strike capabilities…

My god…

I-34,

I can’t believe they added Interstates to the game.

It actually matters a lot. And not just in 500kgf of thrust. Engines have significantly different control system which also changes efficiency quite significantly. For someone who was giga pissed about SM2 radar and engines being incorrect, saying that difference between F-1 and F-1S don’t matter is… interesting to say the least

I’m not sure that it is going for 177. Su-57E most likely gonna use it, but domestic version probably still pursues Izd 30 as the main engine.

Nice lil airbrake example as well

Oh yeah, Su-35S gonna be without airbrake in WT. Unless they will suddenly implement it as a game mechanic (which i highly doubt)

The rafale has a similar system and they modelled it, I can’t see why they wouldn’t on the 35

Then why they didn’t modell it on Su-34?
