Sukhoi Su-27/30/33/35/37 Flanker series & Su-34 Fullback - History, Design, Performance & Dissection (Part 2)

Yeha 1400 kph is structural for low altitude,
Mach 2.15+ at high altitude is engine limited

That’s inaccurate iirc, from what I remember the 8 missiles configuration was tested on Standard F.3.4
@WreckingAres283 can you confirm?

can the Su-35 or any non Su-57 aircraft use the R-74M2/RVV-MD2?

Probably yes
AFAIK its just a smaller R-74 (cross section wise) so I don’t see why not, I just dont think they ever will because theres no reason for them to

Now I can’t grind out any more planes until they add in the Su-35S or some other cool Flanker worthy of being my 1,000th vehicle.

i dont see the advantage this would provide over the regular upgraded sarh seekerheads tbh.

9B-1103 is an ARH seeker. And if we are looking at 2014 versions they are also dual mode. 9B-1103M-200PS has ARH/PRH seeker and 9B-1103M-200PA is ARH/SARH seeker.

Me in a hating Flankers competition and my opponent is a redditoid
