the squares are known to be radar targets from Su-35 hud footage
(Su-57 shares overall the same HUD symbology as the Su-35)

Biggest flaw on Su-35 you forgot is that it lacks CANARDSSSSSSSS.

Gosh Sukhoi was it so hard to keep improving Su-37?

Su35 looks amazing

What i do know is that su35s is gonna get su57 hmd and a byelka derivative (aesa) in future, its already been in the process for a while

why would it need to if the byelka has side facing arrays

That doesnt mean its derivative have side arrays

Flankers dont have provisions for side arrays on its nose

what that mean

imo base su-35/su-27m from the 90s is the best looking flanker. Single seat + canards is soooo peak for aesthetics

It looks really nice but Su-37 with canards> Su35 in terms of looks :D

That HMD should be also integrated to Su-30 family I think.

Canards rob you of top speed and barely provide anything if you already have engines with TVC.

aesthetics > flight performance in my book :)

Probably wrong data. Su-27M is almost as heavy as Su-35S, has more drag, less powerful engines and it’s somehow faster?

nah I think its maybe due to ram coating and that al41f1s is hotter.
most flankers actually all share the same 1400 kph limit on the deck due to structural limitations.
at high altitude, they actually become engine limited due to temperature.
al31f is much less hotter than al41f1s,
its why su35 90s variant can go 2500 kph at high altitude while su35 modern goes 2400

Iırc Su-37 used both Al-31 and Al-37 engines and 37 produced more thrust.
