I was in IR HMD the whole time though, it wasn’t switching back and forth from PD to IR, am I missing something?

It does. When I fired like that in IRST at enemy target landing and slowing down, my MICA went only on Datalink and successfully striked landed plane (after slowing to a stop).

I’ve been using this to get an HMD lock that goes further than 20km haha, sometimes against F-15’s I get even 25/26 km locks with HMD IR, and I can shoot an R-77 without even needing to cycle targets with the radar :)

(I just follow the trails in the sky, since 9/10 times they fly at like 7000/8000m)

I can’t test this because my Euro doesn’t have an IRST haha

Pretty sure that it’s a bug, since I saw Gunjob stating that in the Euro thread, wonder if or how long it will take them to fix.

the thing is that no matter what Mig they will add (ignoring the mig25 and mig31) the flanker will do their job but better

the flanker will still be better especially in WT
and that is because of one simple reason:
the Su-27 can carry way more missiles

…i dont really see the Mig-29M being relevant without putting it at 13.3 ( even tho it would be way better than the 29SMT at teh same BR) or fixing the mig-29 flight model
