It still annoys me how terrible the Flanker FM has been for so long.
When Gripen E was nerfed people joked about “fastest call to Kremlin”. Now Flanker was too good for like a day? And there is silence.

even if they are for the RWR, then i would still think that they only have a ±30° coverage
so there would still be blindspots
What i actually wonder is what upgrades other than the radar & its ability to use R-37ms, exist.
Because pilots or videos state that it has newer avionics, what could that be. Inside mostly looks the same, maybe connection with other platforms?
That thing could be an indication of something new, not rwr maybe.
could be a new fire control system and computers in general, which all are also part of the avionics

Its most likely Gaijin realized they buffed the wrong section and decided to revert it while not fixing the wrong part…

they didnt nerf the low speed performance, they added drag so it performs worse at high speed
below 900 it still performs better than pre buff across the board
The graph you have from the Soviet report has calculated performance figures, so it cannot be taken too seriously.
As a fan of EF 2000, I have to politely disagree. I think that the combination of radar, avionics, and armament, together with the very powerful EJ200 engines and the Typhoon’s supersonic performance, will be very difficult to beat
su-57 has basically better everything. faster, more radars, stealth, weapons are debatable since we don’t know performance of r-77m (though minimum of 160km aint bad)… and its not even su-57m
