Sukhoi Su-27/30/33/35/37 Flanker series & Su-34 Fullback - History, Design, Performance & Dissection (Part 2)

He hates every single eurocanard and cant stand the fact that european jets are actually better than his precious F-15’s.

This not the first time he did something like that.

Please show me, im waiting in my dm.

have you actually talked to the dude

Best part about both Gripen reports are based on Viggen’s sustained turn rate performance which is not something that is hundred percent accurate.

At least MIG23M used some official SAAB informations instead of other guy.

Btw almost every jets overperforms in certain areas, especially you’re favourite F2A ADTW and Sukhois.

Try not to act like only european Delta Canards benefits from Gaijin’s incompetence.

Crazy how me showing you bug reports that the rafale and gripen are overperforming suddenly turned into looking at my stats

Fully aware but to say that the rafale isn’t and actively denying it is funny when its the single plane that had a consistently over 60-66% wr for all of 2025. The only jet that even came CLOSE to it was the British Typhoon why? Because Britain basically always queues with France

Both reports are based on assumptions and so far only one Rafale and one Gripen report has been implemented.

Yeah so far you dont show any promises m8.

You know what was the main problem? Main problem was adding such an advanced version of Rafale, not the plane itself.

If Gaijin could’ve added Rafale F2 version with PESA radar,no HMD and only 6 missiles this would never happen in the first place, not to mention for some reason Gaijin refused to put France on both sides which caused even more shitshow.

Dont act like you’re the only person who didnt like what happened there, i was there when it started and always didnt like how Rafale dominated the top tier cause its my favourite 4.5th Gen all the time but having one sided fun was actually quite boring.

At some point i stopped using my Rafale at all in Air Rb’s because of how boring it became.

Is it a sekrit doc?

I saw it, its just a random image that shows some random numbers while lacking critical informations about vehicle’s conditions.

If you were capable of reading you’d realise that a bug report that was linked within that one also used the viggens sustained rate to get it buffed

Also the the fact that it is overperforming in flight

There’s some arguments here about other aircraft flight model reports and etc. etc. I will say that the Rafale now has two lift reports that have not been actioned and existed longer than the Su-27’s lift report which gave it a significant boost in flight performance. But this is the Su-27 thread so to keep it on topic…

Su-30SM2 has a faster spawn speed than other top tier aircraft like F-15, EFT, Rafale, J-10C, and Gripen by nearly 300kmh. This was somewhat understandable due to its flight performance, but now that the flight performance had received buffs yesterday should the SU-30SM2 still retain its faster spawn speed?

to be fair the buffs dont reallyt affect acceleration.

The buffs do affect the high speed energy retention if my understanding is correct. So now the Su-30SM2 which already has a higher spawn speed can better retain it through the beginning of the matches into the middle-late parts of the matches.

it feels kinda comical how little speed it bleeds now

i mean yeah but like, rafale is still rafale for example. doesnt matter much if you lose some speed if you can get it back within half a second id say

This is a very odd line of attack considering I barely even touch F-15s and haven’t really touched them outside of duels for the better part of 2 years. I thought the last time that you made this line of attack was because I was a Flanker fanboy or whatever?

The “official SAAB information” that MiG_23M cited in his turn rate report is the same source that is cited in the new Gripen turn rate report.

I was one of the people who suggested that spawn speed should be the same for all vehicles (Mach 1.0), but gaijin just straight up ignored it ´-´, and to be honest, its not gonna change much, but its still a reason for people to start questioning things, like right now

The Su-30SM2 can’t generate speed like the EFT but it still maintains great energy retention at high speeds so it does matter for the Su-30SM2 especially when it is heavily loaded with many weapons.

Spawn speed is something completely arbitrary and something we could have more voice on compared to bug reports, the whole idea of air-spawns is already a mechanic that favors aircraft that carries a lot more weapons than those that choose to do with few or can’t take many since they don’t have to struggle taking off and getting up to Mach 1 in the first place.

Ideally we wouldn’t have airspawn at all but if we do have airspawns, having the Su-30SM2 retain its airspawn speed advantage in its current state is a bit perplexing.

The new flight model is peak hilarity.

This is a reference of the in-game flight models sustained turn rate vs the Su-27 manual that is public, and the prototype manual that Gaijin initially used to model the plane. What the devs have did in order to meet the datapoints in the bug report is essentially shift the entire STR line up once again. And worse yet…they didn’t even actually manage to meet the datapoints in the bug report.

Nobody that was actually involved in the making of the bug report is actually happy with the change either because it’s been done in such a slap-shod fashion. It doesn’t meet the lift requirements and now it even more blatantly over-performs in areas that it was already over-performing.
