Honestly think these new planes shouldn’t have been added this patch… Top tier ARB is literally just go high and spam missiles with these new planes. I can literally get 5 kills in a 30 second time span by just spamming missiles at 8km altitude, 0 skill required. (music is playin in the background for this clip, might wanna mute it)
Also i swear the new cursor radar thing barely works, i just gave up and went back to good ol ’ cyclic switching

It is a problem and Jets do have too many missiles, means that Su-30s can waste missiles on speculative shots. Couple that with the new Su-30 being the best BVR jet in the game (Rip Typhoon/F-15) and you end up with a Jet with enough missiles to BVR and enough missiles and performance to dominate close range too.
Gaijin in one update have instead of bringing everyone up to the level of Rafale have elevated the Su-30 to the joint best jet in the game.
I don’t know how they fix the mess they have made. US mains are rightly calling for F-22 and you honestly cannot blame them
Honestly I think smaller team sizes would go a long way than the chaos that is 16v16. A game mode like 8v8 or 6v6 would be a lot more fair and balanced, as it would let jets with smaller missile counts shine
No because even then that Su-30SM can just dominate. Gaijin have broken the contract of balance with this aircraft.
Su-30SM was slower, but had a great payload and Radar. Being slower meant it was not the BVR king, but the missiles and Radar allowed it to be good at close/medium ranges.
The new Su-30SM3 out BVRs the F-15GE and the Typhoon. The Radar is better and the flight performance is near to the Typhoon and F-15. They have broken the balance with this ill thought out addition.
As a start we need a rework of 120s and MICAs range restriction removed. Currently nothing can live with the Su-30SM3 and it’s insane Radar, FM and Payload.

I don’t even know anymore, I saw it being white/orange/purple-blue on the Su-35 at this point.
To be fair, the color it has right now in WT might as well be correct.
Manually cycling the targets is still better imo, when using the cursor you need to use ALT, and that prevents you from maneuvering the jet and possibly start evading/defending.
Not to mention that I find the the cycle keybind to be a lot better when the TWS starts picking up the missiles that were shot from the targeted aircraft.

Is the Su-30SM2 currently capable of guiding two R-27ER’s at once as it should?
Nope, a report is up for it without a tag, I doubt the devs are planning something like that for now.
