to be fair
Ah, I dont know, I just used DCS as a kind of base, even though its a mod. I’m sure that if the community could do something like this in War Thunder, they would do it even better than Gaijin, to be honest, at least in some parts
He’s not wrong, but he also not right. Unless ofc he has access to Su-30SM flight data.

“major nerf”
I love that single engine on afterburner on the ground already makes airframe move up or down during TVC test while in WT 2 engines on Su-30SM sometimes can’t even make her finish a flip because how badly TVC is modelled.
Feels like airframe actively opposing the engines vector, similarly to how R-73 actively fights against its TVC during high pull turns.
Just for the bug report to sit on accepted for 3 years and nothing happening
Exactly as I said … the aircraft becomes like a brick, the controls become as stiff as those of a BV238, that video I sent clearly shows that the aircraft simply froze on me as if it didn’t want to respond to the commands, but oh well, that will never be fixed, R73 has same problem.
low k have underestimated the range on the r-77-1… just got 2 arb games in a row where i got a kill from 50/55km+ launches at the beginning of the game, with the r-77-1 having a velocity of over mach 2 when they killed their target.
interesting anecdote, both of the players were eurofighter players lol
Going from a spaded Su-27SM to a stock Su30SM was an experience 🫠
what slightly reduced drag and 1 more second of booster does to a mf (it also has 1350N of force more but it isn’t as funny)
Should the Su-34 get the Kh-59?

it should be able to carry 3 if this is correct, but does it really needed?
I mean, it can use em and it’s not like it’d particularly change much so I don’t see why not.
I would consider any loadout chart that has su-34 taking r77s hilariously wrong.
There’s no way that thing accurate
Rather curiously, with Su-34E they left Kh-59M out…
Probably because of how old it is, they have better alternatives now (tho not listed in there)
