Sukhoi Su-27/30/33/35/37 Flanker series & Su-34 Fullback - History, Design, Performance & Dissection (Part 2)

hoping for a export r77m mention

Ain’t gonna happen methinks. Russia just started using them on their own aircrafts, selling it outside, even as reduced performance version wouldn’t be a smart choice. Although if that Su-57 loadout picture is correct - it is the only A2A missile that can fit in weapons bay.

Airflow…

made a report on r-77 lacking maneuverability

Probably a no factor. Intakes of Su-30 and Su-35 don’t have noticeable difference in scale, despite having significant difference in engine thrust values. And on high speeds you are trying to actually reduce the airflow, not increase it.

There are dozen versions of L-150 exist. With different frequency and elevation coverage.

This one doesn’t say anything about different elevation coverage tho, only about different versions.

Different elevation is different in specific plane sources. IIRC Ralin has posted sources about Su-25SM3 has much better elevation coverage than other ones.

Really? It’s the same ±30 as all other l150s in game

That’s quite interesting, considering just as kizvy said - every single L-150 version in-game has the same angle coverage

Maybe it was not enough for report or still in consideration

Su34 is not mentioned, so ig it really doesn’t have a built in rwr

W I’m blind, gonna blame not having my glasses with me rn

NGL it would be hella metal if that Su-34 evaded patriot without even an RWR.

IIRC НУ is not RWR itself but block responsible for sending guidance to ARM

Looking at the table - it could mean that all those platforms have L-150-30M.1 and diffrent guidance blocks.

another thing - looking at KRET site - Khibiny could work as an RWR? Identification and indication of the most dangerous radar.

how do we know that the flanker can carry only 2 r27t/et
i found this
