Su-35S with its Irbis radar, AL-51 engines, R-37M,R-74M2, and R-77M is easily 15.0 material.
Al-51 is likely never coming to su-35
There are no Su-35S with AL-51, and we aren’t getting R-37M, R-74M and R-77M for now (thankfully) with all this in mind and current compression it would be quite unfair to place it any higher than 14.7
Depends on what future has in store for 5th and mythical 6th generation aircrafts. Right now both US and Russia seems to be keen on making advanced Gen 4 stuff rather than Gen 5 (F-15EX and our good pal Su-35S). If this will continue, and if AL-51 is indeed as amazing as Saturn claims there might be an upgrade program for Su-35S (there are already rumours about Su-35SM but who knows what is going on)
we already know how good it is… it’s just 16500 kgf, slightly less than what i was expecting. kinda disappointing tbh. It’s not that special, basically on par with the f119 f-22 albeit its a lot lighter

It’s only thrust values. There’s plenty of other things to consider irl, be it price, maintenance difficulty or time, fuel efficiency etc.

I find it funny how the empty weight increased by 2 tons compared to a legacy flanker, but the combat weight didnt, its kind of complicated
They must have used tungsten, otherwise I don’t really know what they’ve done…

Nowhere probably. Mostly news sources that are based on “it came to me in a dream”. Sure there could be truth in the things that they are saying but for now it’s just rumors. I particularly liked the one that said Su-35SM will get AL-41F1 adaptation instead of F1S which will remove oxygen engine system from the aircraft. And that in a process of modernisation Su-35S might loose around 6 tons of weight.
If all this is true it will be glorious but… it is IF all this is true.
