Yeah ig, I mean I’m happy about strike eagle actually standing out in BVR against Typhoon but I do agree it’s pretty crazy
What we need its Su-35s and Su-37 premium in the next update. Anything less than that its stupid at this point.
i’d rather see the T-10M 703 than the Su-37 as a premium as it has a TIALD TGP making it much more usable for CAS

What does the Su-30SM need:
Fix flightmodel, fix 3D model, fix R-77-1 drag.
Remove double pylons, Kh-38, GROM.

I don’t think GROM or KH38Ml is problematic, just remove the MT and double racks.

Still wouldn’t overshadow the poor FM performance, yes, BIG THRUST, but that alone ain’t solving the problem.

That is true, the FM aint the greatest. Tho The T/W ratio of the SM rn is one of its biggest downsides of the jet at least from my experience. Id think of the SM2 as a sort of intermediate until the Su-35 or even Su-37 arrives…

That is never a problem for Gaijin.
This is a problem for Russia as they really don’t have anything else before the Axehead.
R-77M isn’t in service and R-27EA wont fill the capability gap when Western nations have 120C/D
Meteors and newer MICAS.
At that point the Chinese Flankers with PL-15s will take over as the best Flanker
Totally agree on that, and yes the AL-41 would help it accelerate faster and possibly hang a bit longer in slow dogfights
it will only help, to midigate the problem, but it will not fix it
the actual problem (when you are not in a BVR fight) is the excessive drag and missing lift
more thrust will not fix that
In terms of getting up to speed, it should help, even if I doubt it would match the other 14.0 acceleration. As for the dogfight bit, it wouldn’t fix the problem totally, but I guess it could help a bit by making you stand more on your engines.
