I think R-77-1 is fine … There’s really no need for R-27EA/EM …
On the other hand, I think R-27ER could use some better lofting …
I would be surprised if they kept it in service this long, without modifying / modernizing the guidance system and introducing more optimized trajectories / better lofting …

Wasnt it tested with MiG-29M? Would be neat if we had it (MiG-29M) and R-27EA as it only ARH option

They don’t actually care about realism. They’d be throwing a fit about Ostwind II, F-16AJ, and a handful of other things if they did. They’re driven by a mix of anti-CAS and anti-russia mentality, but mostly anti-CAS. Since they 27EA won’t be killing tanks, they won’t care about whether or not the EA is real.

Kh-38 is real…How it functions in game is not and that’s the problem.
Yes Gaijin have added prototypes and weapon systems but nothing in this games long and chequered history is as stupid as the Kh-38.
If Gaijin add an all aspect R-27EA they are admitting that Russian missile design wasn’t/isn’t very good. And that Russia need failed prototypes to level the playing field.
If that comes then Aim120C maybe even D needs to be added to game.

Well Russian VKS/VVS are carrying the R-77-1 we have in game. R-77M isn’t in service yet
Gaijin is openly saying that the R-77-1 isn’t good enough and Russia need the R-27EA.

I wouldn’t consider a datamined idea or consideration as “Gaijin openly saying R-77-1 are bad and R-27EA are needed ASAP”

you know that the 27ea would be more balanced because flankers cant carry as many of them and they are even heavier

Because the R-27ER is probably overall the best missile in the game?
It’s draw back is you have to guide it the EA would remove that but it does depend on it’s notch resistance
will be like any other missile besides the mica
if you are dying to a missile fired at more than 30km it is honestly your fault and no aim120d will change that because they will be just as easy to notch as any other missile
