Never been more conservavtive with CM’s since ;D
Mine is already at 50%, not chaff wasted, just that I need that much, like voluntarily to stay high, and that doesn’t leave me with enough to do late game.
Talking about R-27ER. Was bored of how slow su30sm its. And launched a R-27ER at 65km. Not expecting it to kill someone.
Gaijin give me Su-35s NOW!!.
Its very good and even if you lose track you can reaquire it and the missile wont self destruct like an Aim 7 or a Skyflash.
Yeah, that missile is almost vertically down. I think that guy’s rwr might not even have gone off lol.
It did, he gets the RWR warning from your plane not the missile smh.
Did ppl just forget how sarh missiles work after arh was added.
Aim7 and sky flash wont self destruct instantly anymore, gaijin changed that.
You have like 5 seconds to relock the target
Wow, dude was probably sleeping on his Keyboard haha
Hey guys, considering the channel loss % that gaijin uses for engines, how much should the thrust of the AL-41 engine in AB be? Like to get an idea of how much this number can grow:
Also if channel loss isn’t the only factor to take into account pls feel free to tell me :)
As of RN AL41 would be the only variable bypass engine and no one quite knows how Gaijin will choose to model it. For reference AL31F would IRL have 122.6 kN, compared to in game this is a bit higher. With AL41’s 176 kN I would be expecting something along the lines of 16 kN although that might just make Su35 so strong that they have to counter it by adding AMRAAM C-5.
Why did they take variable bypass anyways?
I never knew about rwr sensitivity! Is this recommended for all top tier planes? i only have the EF2k and i did notice the rwr going off for missiles passing miles away from me
Yes it helps the Typhoon
With map sizes even Su-35 is going to struggle to accelerate to the speeds the Rafale and a none nerfed Typhoon will hit.
The Su-35 is still a gen 4 legacy design. Yes it is lighter and has more power and superior avionics but in raw kinematics it falls behind
Doesn’t look to be that way
I thought it was, with the use of lighter/composites matrials.
Having that massive IRBIS Radar must weigh it down!
How to reduce senstivity?
Su35 is reinforced and has more fuel
The iribis is actually lighter than the bars
the bars weighs 650kg and the irbis 480kg
To put it into car terms for someone who doesn’t understand jet engines, it is the equivalent of variable valve timing and lift duration in a piston engine.
I.e. it can move the power band or optimize thrust and fuel efficiency by adjusting the bypass ratio (amount of air going around the core). That air will slow down exhaust velocity unless the afterburner is used, so less bypass is more optimal for supercruise for example.
Still, you want some amount of bypass to help cool the core components in high thrust situations like supercruise as that can be stressful on the engine.
