Yeah, this makes sense,
but the Su-35 being the same mass as the Su-30SM2…?

rafale is better (AESA)
30SM2 should have similar avionics as the 35 as an effort of standardization. But I don’t think I have heard of it getting RAM
RAM adds lots of weight
What exactly is RAM?
radar absorbing material
makes me think they store fuel in the cockpit as well -_-
Magic composite polymers that absorbs radio waves
That’s what I thought, just wanted to be sure.
Ty.
maybe pilot is taking TS-1 bath lol
PESA and AESA dont have their differences modeled ingame so it dosent matter
I would said its more close to 18t. But again we only know the Gross weight of 25300. That is with; 2 R-73+2 R-77 and 50% fuel + Kibhiny pod. That figure 25300 never change even when other numbers change. Its better to thing that Both Su-30sm and Su-35s weight the same. And wait for gaijin Sekrit document.
“Where is jet fuel?”
-pilot with a strangely jet-fuel shaped stomach.
“I dunno.–”
Reminds me of the Top Gear episode with the water filled car lmao
speaking of drinkable fluids in vehicles, would be funny if there was a chance for bottom bullet point to take effect ingame
I’m still amused they used Ethanol for the Tu-22s airconditioning. Didn’t even infuse it with chemicals to make it non-potable. Just straight up ethanol
This is from old Knaapo Brochure. From Stealth Flanker Calculation. Without missile its have about the same RCS of the Rafale. With full missile of course it have more than Rafale with full missile.
And from what i have read its not like they Applied RAM on the whole plane but key zone like the engine intake.
I’m aware the Rafale is AESA. The SU30 is PESA, which in the game means basically the same thing, except that the SU30’s radar in practicality actually scans faster and imo has much better scan areas. Rafales only advantage is the vertical gimbal limits
They are generally pretty close. Depending on the airframe they will remove one of the fuel tanks for the additional cockpit space.
They function identically in-game
