Suggestion: Show Spotting Information on the Death Screen

Hi everyone,

I’d like to propose an improvement to the screen that appears when you’re destroyed in battle. Currently, this screen shows the name of the player who killed you and the ammunition used. However, I believe it would be very useful (and educational for players) if it also showed whether you were spotted and by which player (or at least that you were spotted, even if the player isn’t named).

Why would this be useful?

  • Tactical clarity: Knowing if you were spotted before dying helps you understand how you were eliminated and lets you adapt in future matches.
  • Teamwork recognition: Many times, a player does a great job spotting enemies but gets no visible recognition. Displaying this reinforces the importance of that role.
  • Reduces frustration: Some deaths feel “magical” or unfair. Knowing you were spotted gives helpful context and makes it feel more justified.

Suggested Implementation:

On the same death screen (as shown in the images I’ve attached), just below the text “You have been destroyed by…”, a line could be added such as:

🔭 Spotted by William or 🔭 You have been spotted

With a small binoculars or eye icon to visually highlight it. This small graphic detail would help integrate the info clearly and usefully, without cluttering the screen.

I hope this idea is of interest to the development team and fellow players. Thanks for your great work and for keeping War Thunder evolving!

Looking forward to your thoughts and support for this suggestion!
