People one death leave for a variety of reasons, not because they want to. Fix the root problems instead.
Let’s say that I want to play the Swedish Lvkv 42 at its own br. I can’t because I don’t have 4.3 vehicles and I don’t want to spend 3000 ge on a fat kv1. Now what?
Like always, the community desperately tries to fix the issue by creating harsh punishments instead of realizing people one death leave for good reasons and tackling those reasons is a smarter, healthier, and more effective way to go about fixing this than knee jerk band aid harsh punishments.
Negative incentives are ineffective and only causes people not to play something. Just look at Naval coastal mode and its excessively long grind.
Just pay the repair cost, that’s it, unless they respawn the sec one or keep active.
So I’ll be punished for leaving after a death because I didn’t like a map? What a brilliant idea! This text smells like ChatGPT.
NO. You can force people to play.
Instead of stupid ban or punishements improve the gameplay, maps, map rotation (right now is extremly bad) and redwards for complete the entire battle.
Really imagine you need go to the toilet, or you receive a visit or phone call leave the battle and when you return you are banned…excuse me what??? terrible idea.
Artificial intelligence (AI) control the forum and write our answer.
I fully support the author’s point of view. Yes, I also pay for the game a significant amount and this is what I get in return: after events, you can’t even play for a month! We’re talking about premium users here. A moderator even said earlier that paying customers shouldn’t be punished well, I am one! So what’s going on? It’s nauseating what happens during these times…
Anyone who quits a match just because they don’t like the map should be penalized too. They’re not playing alone, but many seem incapable of understanding that probably don’t even realize there are 15 other players in the battle. If you leave because you don’t like the map, then face the consequences… we suffer because of people like that. In every decent game, this kind of behavior is punished whether you’re a paying customer or not. They’re ruining the whole experience. “I don’t like something, so I quit” sure… that’s why we need a new game mode. The solution is incredibly simple.
And to the author: don’t stop posting, and don’t pay attention to the comments most are bots trying to make it seem like everything’s fine, and the rest only log in twice a year. Any reasonable person knows this isn’t okay. Once again, I feel like I wasted money on this game you can’t even play two decent matches a day.
We need a new MMR-based game mode. I’m willing to wait 10 minutes if I have to. The point is: a new mode with rules no quitting after one death, minimum vehicle requirements, etc. I like your post! You expressed it well. The problem is, you’re the thousandth person to say it, and nothing has changed.
Just write your post and leave the forum I don’t read the comments either, I’ve realized it’s pointless. And just a heads-up: the planned universal reserve is nothing more than a band-aid on a wound, not a real cure.
Probably one of the most laughable discussions I’ve seen so far lmao
I can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic, but yeah, we’re all just bots. Don’t worry about it.
Unless you give the players the ability to ban any map they don’t like, so that they are not put in this situation then you are not going to fix the problem, just unfairly punish people for bad mechanics.
Its stupid to punish people on that considering some of them are just plain hindrance whether they are here or not…
Instead just give permanent backup to premium or increase GE enough for one in regular tech tree modification backup.
Your suggestion might actually go somewhere if two conditions were true:
-
Gaijin cares about the play experience and isn’t just interested in sales figures.
-
Players would give a damn
However both statements are false.
If players would look at their match history, they’d realized in a couple of minutes that games that last longer, they, on average, get more rewards for the same amount of actions (kills, assists, whatever).
However the average player’s opinion seems that about two kills per three games is enough. Otherwise we would see a lot more engagement here in the forums.
As for Gaijin, they of course benefit from people taking longer to grind. More players, more frustration, perhaps some are buying premiums, vehicles for GE and so one just to get this second job of a game over with.
EDIT: This also help to stop better players from grinding too fast. If everyone spawns only once, you can only get around 16 kills (assuming you’d kill everyone on the enemy team).
If however, everyone spawns three times, that’s a potential for 48 kills spread across 16 players, allowing for overall more rewards being given out. Of course that’s beneficial for Gaijin aswell.
I wouldn’t care much about gaijin’s interest in sales figures since the game is mostly shaped by players. If average folks in war thunder can stop whining about “russian bias” BS, then they can open their eyes and go for better quality of life and other suggestion…
kinda true depending on tank itself or nation because soviet premium tanks I brought are utter trash thanks to BR up ranking…
Giving permanent backup to premium is just the tip of the iceberg, there is many things players and gaijin must care about. But I will highlight most critical problem which is planes in tank battle that shreds half of your team while barely getting scratches thanks to their stupid tons of bombs…
I say just remove them at this point for low tier or just put over 1k bomb on higher tier because they are the main reason why people leave the match because low tier spaa requires too much skill, uses basic tank sight, and just bad range in general…

-
1 top tier +1 reserve? Completely useless suggestion.
-
See #1 above - so you spawn again in reserve and then kill yourself? Just showing how useless the suggestion is sorry
Nope - won’t change a thing
I don’t see how this suggestion would work. Even if somehow they implemented some sort of ban to prevent me from leaving the game with 1 death I would literally spawn a second vehicle and press W until somebody nicks the paint job of my tank. then I can J out and **** off to my new game hoping there would be less wallet warriors on my team.
Yeah… we’re all bots… for saying this…
Get over yourself.
You LITERALLY cannot use this forum unless you have RECENTLY played MANY battles. Playing 1-2 a week is not enough to be allowed into this forum. I have taken a TWO WEEK break after playing for 15+ hours in the week prior and been told I didn’t have enough activity to post on the forum. It LITERALLY BANS YOU FROM THE FORUM FOR INACTIVITY.

How about no?
Maybe y’all should think of why people one death leave instead of crying over this over and over again and trying to hand unrealistic punishments to one death leavers
