The Dev server opened less than a week ago, if evidence is provided thats legal they will change it
it has longer range, and improved seeker. but by how much. idk. but its still in active use by many countries.
and the NG was what became the E, NG was the tech demo for the E and can do stuff the E cant.

me and some friends who researched it scoured everywhere for info on the Gripen A’s radar. and every source we found, wich wasnt many, said it is missing the component to guide the AIM-7. it literally cant guide the missile.
compared to meteor is nothing tho lol, just cheaper (i assume) and the american like it more
fair nuff, i aint got anything on it any Blue vixen buffs come from gunjob and flame and a few others

The simple and best solution to this “problem” is to give the JAS39A AIM-120Bs and increase the BR. That wouldn’t remove anything from the 13.7 pool. This would finally give Sweden its first 14.0 jet ever. (F-18C doesn’t count. It’s 14.0 on paper, but we all know it shouldn’t be there when it struggles against even 13.7’s thanks to the lack of any HMD)
The idea that giving AIM-120C-5s to the JAS39C would somehow create any BR spread problems is completely wrong. If you simply give the AIM-120B to the 39A, then there’s going to be absolutely no change whatsoever. 39A finally gets its historical loadout, 39C finally gets something to make it anything other than a renamed 39A with a historical loadout.
13.0 would have the JA37DI, 13.7 would have the JA39A, 14.0 would have the JA39C. Makes more sense than the current unhistorical mess, and wouldn’t leave any BR problems. Like, can’t Gaijin make one exception here? It’s for historical accuracy and balancing, if anything. We all know restricting the 39A to fly without AIM-120s isn’t historically accurate. And based on sources from SIPRI, Sweden did purchase AIM-120C-5s, including several pictures of 39Cs from many different nations carrying AIM-120C-5s on their gripens, proving that it can carry them. Why not add them for a plane that needs them most of all?
