Suggestion for a Spain national day event vehicle

As October 12th comes and the HMS Barham event will end soon, im suggesting few ground vehicles who could fit as the next event vehicle:

381 mm caliber rocket spin-stabilized, 3 meters long, 75,6 kg of explosives, 18km range
There also was a prototype mounting a 105/26 howitzer

Great Idea,

I especially love the two StuG based vehicles!
The Rocket StuG is amazing. We have rocket BT5 so why not this aswell?

Also Spain deserves to get more recognition in the air tree, there are no spanish planes in the german air tree, only camos that feature the spanish air force cross insignia.

all are good yes

Hi everyone,

As many of you may know, October 12th marks Spain’s National Day—also known as the Día de la Hispanidad (Day of the Hispanic World). It commemorates the historic meeting of two worlds and the beginning of a global cultural transformation. But beyond history, it’s a day that celebrates the shared heritage of over 500 million Spanish speakers across Spain, Latin America, the U.S., and other parts of the world.

In the context of War Thunder, a diverse and international community, we believe Gaijin has a great opportunity to show a gesture of appreciation to its large and active Hispanic player base. Every day, thousands of players from Spain and Latin America take to the skies, seas, and battlefields of War Thunder. We are pilots, tankers, and captains united by a common language and a passion for history and military tech.

Gaijin has shown on many occasions that it can honor national holidays and historic events—like Victory Day, U.S. Independence Day, or Bastille Day in France. So why not do the same for Hispanic Heritage, which represents a vast, culturally rich part of the world that’s well-represented in War Thunder’s community?

What Could Gaijin Do?

We’re not asking for anything huge—just a meaningful gesture. Here are some simple yet symbolic ideas:

  • Add a special Spanish Air Force camouflage, such as the gray scheme used on the F-4C Phantom by Ala 12 (12th Wing) at Torrejón Air Base in the 1980s-90s.
  • A historical skin for the Hispano Aviación HA-1112 “Buchón”, the Spanish-built version of the Bf 109, used in Spanish Air Force service and even in classic war films.
  • A limited-time commemorative title, like “Hispanus Aeternum”, “Hispanic Pride”, or “Knight of the Sky”.
  • Maybe a small in-game event or a mini-challenge with cosmetic rewards—something that celebrates Hispanic contributions to aviation and military history.

This type of content would not only be welcomed by Spanish-speaking players, but also offer interesting, authentic additions to the game’s historical depth.

A Community That Deserves It

The Hispanic community in War Thunder is one of the most loyal, enthusiastic, and engaged groups. From forum activity and bug reports to content creation and competitive gameplay, we are here every day supporting the game. Many of us have also been asking for more historical representation of Hispanic and Latin American military forces—something that could start with symbolic gestures like this.

Ultimately, October 12th is not just a national holiday in Spain—it is a celebration of a shared culture, language, and historical legacy that spans continents. That spirit of unity fits perfectly within War Thunder’s international player base.

So, we kindly encourage Gaijin to recognize this date with a small tribute to the Spanish-speaking community—a community that has given so much to the game and is proud of its heritage.

¡Feliz Día de la Hispanidad!
Happy Hispanic Day!

Let’s hope we see something fly our way this October 12th!

I still waiting for the mighty Buchon.
