Suggestion, email verification when logged in from different IP

I’ve been noticing players that have old accounts with almost no replay history have been getting an abnormal amount of kills vs their stats. (likely stolen accounts) I think it would be nice if Gaijin implemented some kind of IP email verification when logging in from a non-known location. Basically like what facebook does. “Hey we noticed you logged in or tried to login from (country/state/city) did you allow this” What do you guys think?

There are similar feature in the Gaijin Pass which require the holder of the smartphone with the Gaijin Pass linked to, to allow the log-in, which shows the IP with the city and the country from where the request was made.

Which regarding e-mail notifications for stolen accounts is pointless, one time the account stolen, the e-mail is changed and there’s nothing else to do, but there are some exceptions in this case of purely stolen accounts or accounts stolen to promote a cheat.

They could permanently lock email addresses unless they directly contact support

And passing by the entire headache of going to the support because you got to a travel and feel like you wanted to play War Thunder, oops Daisy, locked, and only be replied tomorrow. Gaijin themselves suggest using the Gaijin Pass which reduces to zero the necessity for going to the support.

If they locked the account to the email, you would be able to just verify you logged in using your email when using a different IP. You’d still be able to login unless you forgot your email at home when traveling lol.

I’m just saying Gaijin should make it so that you can not change the email linked to the account without contacting support. Not when your IP changes and you verify that it is you via email that you are accessing the account.
