I would like to suggest adding an Indian aviation tech tree to War Thunder. I believe India would be an excellent candidate for a new nation, especially after such a long period without a completely new tech tree.
An Indian tree could work similarly to the Israeli tech tree, incorporating aircraft from other nations while also offering a substantial number of unique Indian variants. However, India has a particularly strong selection of indigenous and heavily modified aircraft and weapons, especially at top tier. Aircraft such as the HAL Tejas and Su-30MKI, alongside India-specific missile developments, could provide genuinely new gameplay rather than simply repeating existing vehicles.
Another major advantage would be allowing unique Indian variants of existing aircraft to be placed in a dedicated, relatively compact tech tree rather than being scattered across larger nations or sold primarily as premium vehicles. This would give players a more accessible way to experience these variants while providing Gaijin with plenty of new content.
Most importantly, players are eager for something genuinely new, and an Indian tech tree could offer a fresh and distinctive addition to War Thunder.

If you want to create a suggestion you can do so in the suggestion section here on the forum. That section is however pre-moderated and only posts that follow their rules and guidelines will get posted and it can take a couple of weeks for a post to get reviewed for publication. If it gets accepted and made public it then has a chance to get sent to the developers as a suggestion later on.
Well there’s already a suggestion of Indian air tree, so I assume they wouldn’t let another one pass would they? After all it would be sorta difficult to make something very different from what was already done
Anyway yes, I strongly support an independent Indian tree
India doesnt have enough unique vehicle additions to warrant an entire dedicated tech tree.
Gaijin cant just add a new nation with only an air tree and leave it at that. what about ground and helicopters?
This already exists in the form of the british tech tree. Its been confirmed multiple times that india is a subtree of great britain and indian vehicle additions will go there

The Chinese air tree is basically fully copypaste until rank 6, but it’s still a good addition. It’s also the case of Israel, which is smaller than India would be and is entirely copypaste until rank 7.
And India has vehicles of too many different origins to be a good addition to Britain, why would the UK get a bunch of modified Russian and French vehicles?
