As soon as they didn’t mention them in the CM post I lost hope for this update too. Subs would make a big splash (pun!) for the December update so that would make sense

Well, yes & no. They had deployable noisemakers & there’s always subterfuge such as doglegging torpedoes, deliberately making noise above the layer then dipping beneath and making distance as a sort of trap.

I sure hope so. I have been looking forward to them every year since they added the naval beta. Every year i say yeah they will come next update. But they never come but I thought we were going to hear about them before the next update?

Ive believed a few ‘wishlists’ too broski, rule of thumb is, if there is no evidence of the vehicle, then it probably isnt coming (yet)
